Navathem’s End Follow Up Interview

Back in 2021 we were fortunate enough to talk with Sin and Pam about their game Navathem’s End. Now we’re catching up again because it’s going to print!

We discuss all the challenges and excitement around finding a physical publisher for a game that’s already be released digitally. As well as discussing the work that went into game previously, and what Sin and Pam have been up to since last we spoke.

The print run is kickstarting soon, so follow the page here to get notified when it goes live.

[NYWF]: Dungeon Writers and Arts Dragons

In following with the example set by the festival. I would like to acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, who are the traditional custodians of the land the festival was held on, and that this podcast was made on. I pay respect to their elders past and present as well as to any listeners with a connection to the world’s oldest continuing culture. I would also like to acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

The first in our series of content recorded for, about, and at the National Young Writers Festival here in Newcastle. This is an Actual Play of hacked version of Ash McAllan’s game Oracle.

Elyce Phillips, Soo-Min Shim, and Chloe Alison Escott, join Ray on a journey to find Arts Funding. Recorded in front of a live audience, it was a hilarious adventure as well as being full of many firsts. We hope you enjoy.

[Note: we did our best with the editing of the sound quality, but it was a noisy space.]

A partner of mine, Rae was visiting this week for the first time. We decided to play my favourite RPG of 2018, Oracle by the wonderful Ash McAllan.

[Blades In The Dark]: Arcus

Welcome to Arcus, an island city. Floating in the sea of clouds. Populated by refugees, academics, mystics, criminals, and entrepreneurs. All of them survivors of a shattered world. We join a group of scoundrels fresh out of Bedlam, looking to carve out a place for them and theirs. Hopefully we’ll see them grow into a powerful organisation, and overcome daring obstacles. We might also see them suffer. Strife from their past, their relationships, and their ambition will all test their resolve.

Should they endure, glory awaits them!

Join us, in our longest series to date. In a world of our own creation; built using The Quiet Year, and run using Blades In The Dark. This is Blades In The Dark: Arcus.
