Verdant Mountains Episode 8: Slurry

Everyone waits to see what Ozair will do next, especially now that they’ve got an injured woman in their workshop. Ayazama has started an affair with one of the Cons, and Saffron is out of their depth with spy schemes and political manoeuvring.

All of them are fighting for their own ways of life, although their methods are sometimes VERY different.

The trio have been laying low, doing their own thing. But now their chaotic lives are about to return to their strange equilibrium.
Costuming mishaps, disloyal followers, annoying teens, and the watchful gaze of authoritarian overlords; all contribute to upsetting their lives.

Ozair and Ayazama seek out a mysterious ruin hidden deep in the verdant, all the while Saffron is trying to sort out his botched assassination, as well as trying to manipulate local politics.

Verdant Mountains Episode 3: Show Time

This week is opening night for Saffron’s Spring show, and all the important people will be there; including some of the Burners!
But opening night is never easy, the lighting rig is glitchy, some of the guests refuse to disarm, and let’s not forget that some people want the theatre turned into a barracks!
It won’t just be Saffron playing politics; Ozair and Ayazama have their own agendas and tonight’s the perfect time to see them heard.

Verdant Mountains Episode 1: Night Falls

The first episode of a our new online campaign of Apocalypse World!
This campaign takes place in an overgrown world. Powerful, wild plants choke the sprawl of lost cities, as people try to survive beneath the canopy.
Our game takes place in the Verdant Mountains, an area of the Reclaimed Earth that surrounds an old hydro dam.

In our first episode Ryan, Alex, and Brandon introduce us to their characters. We also define the relationships they have with each other, as well as the community at large.

Recently Brandon (a friend of the podcast) ran a two parter of The Sprawl for us; a powered by the Apocalypse cyberpunk game. It got weird quite fast when we were designing the Megaplex we call home. Alex and Ryan, from Rag-NERD-Rok, joined us for this as well.

Monster Of The Week: Kelpie Hunt Part 2

We continue our investigation, in the 2nd half of Ryan’s MotW game, into the senators son. Following the trail of strange visions from parallel worlds, glimpses in time, and clues gathered from illegal wire taps to find the Kelpie’s nest our Gay Grampas might just have to ruin a mans life.
And his wife’s life.
And the life of his son.
And possibly that of an assistant as well.
But the nurses come out alright!
